For more than 50 years Apperson and its employees have donated their time and resources to a variety of philanthropic causes. As a result, we created a new program to help spread the news of our good deeds in hopes to inspire more good deeds. We hope that by sharing this information with you, you will have another reason to feel good about being an Apperson customer…and maybe even be inspired to join us in the spirit of “Giving Back.”
We hope you’ll take a moment every now and then to see what we’re up to by visiting our Apperson Gives Back website, but I thought I’d share a little sneak peak as well.
Apperson Gives Back to Schools
Apperson believes strongly in the power of education and in supporting teachers and schools to search out innovative ways to engage students. To encourage innovation and to support the needs of teachers and schools, we have launched a School Contest Program.
The School Contest Program lets teachers and faculty members of K-12 schools nominate their school to win a cash prize of up to $1,500 to be used for educational purposes.
Apperson will randomly select up to 10 nominees and then it’s up to the nominees to drive as many folks online as possible to vote for their cause. The schools with the top three votes will win a cash prize!
