Pre-Slugging

Pre-slugging has become a Best Practices process designed to insure accuracy and complete collection of data today. Apperson is ahead of the curve when it comes to your variable printing needs. We utilize advanced, high speed digital printers to quickly pre-slug information onto your forms. The purpose of pre-slugging is that it can be easily read by most OMR and image scanners, thus increasing the accuracy of the data collected and reducing the need and cost of expensive manual data entry.

Pre-slugging can be used on any form that we design when you know who will be completing the form. We can pre-fill student ID's, test codes, class ID's, scrambled ID's, name/company name, address, products previously purchased and more.

Pre-slugged forms can normally be completed and ready for distribution within 10 working days of receiving a data file that has the fields that are required to be printed on the forms.
