Apperson Education Products Partners with Northrop Grumman
New partnership promotes a total student assessment solution for K-12 schools.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Apperson Education Products has partnered with Northrop Grumman
Corporation to provide a critical tool for the popular formative assessment software that Northrop
Grumman developed known as the Aspire Assessment System.
The two companies developed a unique relationship that allows them to help promote
one another’s products as they both share the common goal of providing a product that communicates
students’ test results to their educators on demand.
Apperson proudly gained partnership with the comprehensive Aspire solution by
providing a test scanner that will score students’ tests and allow educators to upload the test
data immediately into the Aspire software. With Apperson providing the key to populating the
Aspire software with student test results, instructors can now gain access to immediate feedback
during the learning process, allowing for timely intervention and remediation.
"I have spoken with educators across the nation and their main struggle is figuring
out how to differentiate their instruction because they don’t have the data they need to make
justified decisions," said Jessica Adamson, K-12 Education Products Manager at Apperson Education
Products. "But by using the Aspire software with our scanners, educators will have the opportunity
to create and administer their exams and then collect relevant and valuable data that will allow
them to address gaps in learning and teaching."
Apperson’s and Northrop Grumman’s plan moving forward is to further break ground in the
