There is no charge or obligation for a BenchMark™ 3000 30-day trial. Your trial will begin
when you receive the equipment at your establishment. At the end of the 30 days, an Apperson
Education Products representative will contact you. If you choose to keep the BenchMark™
3000, you will need to provide a method of payment:
The 30-Day Trial offer is only valid in the continental US.
If You Decide to Purchase the BenchMark™ 3000:
The selling price for the BenchMark™ 3000 is $1,495.00 plus any applicable sales tax.
The price includes the BenchMark™ 3000 scanner, 3 black ink-jet cartridges, our
DataLink software, 1 USB cable and ground shipping. The scanner comes with a one-year
warranty which includes all parts & labor. The warranty can be expanded to include service
loaner privileges for an additional $70.00. Expanded warranty coverage is only available at
the time you purchase the BenchMark™ 3000.
The BenchMark™ 3000 is only compatible with BenchMark™ style forms.
After the first year, the scanner can be covered by an annual maintenance agreement. There
are two maintenance plans:
Silver - $159 per year. This includes all parts and labor to fix your scanner. You ship your
scanner to Apperson Education Products. We repair the scanner and return it to you using
standard ground freight services.
Gold - $229 per year. In addition to all the benefits of the Silver program, you also receive
Service Loaner Privileges. You can request a service loaner to use while your scanner is
being repaired. Apperson will send you a loaner scanner using 2nd day air services. Once
your scanner is returned we will arrange to have the loaner picked up and returned to us.
If you would like to return the BenchMark™ 3000, please follow these steps:
- Contact your Apperson representative at 800.827.9219 and request a
return label and the return authorization number. They will be sent to you.
- When you receive both items, follow the instructions on the return authorization and call
the number listed on the back of the label to schedule a pick-up time. Please have the
BenchMark™ 3000 packaged and ready to ship when you call. It’s that easy!
If Apperson has not received your method of payment or all of the BenchMark™ 3000
equipment back within 3 months of the start of the 30-day trial, your establishment will be
billed $1,495.00 for each BenchMark™ 3000 sent to you. The ground shipping included in
the $1,495 price is for the continental US only. Please ask your representative for freight
charges to any destination outside the continental US.
